Found by Gunbard when she was a baby Yucie was raised in the Human World.  Even though she is 17 years old Yucie looks like a 10 year-old because of a unknown curse.  After sneaking into Queen Ercell's castle Yucie was made a Platinum Princess Candidate and started attending the Princess Academy.  A bit clumsy and full of optimism Yucie quickly becomes friends with the other candidates even though they are supposed to be rivals.  It is unknown who her real parents are.
